St. Rose of Lima Playgroup

This ministry at St. Rose of Lima invites all moms, dads, and their young children (ages newborn-12) from around the area to attend weekly playgroups at the church. This ministry hopes to provide an opportunity for families to make lifelong friends as well as a space for our children to interact with other children of the same faith.  Playgroups will be Friday mornings at 9:30 am in the Rotunda. Playgroups will not meet on any holiday or on any day the church itself is closed.

Well Read Moms Club

Well-Read Mom is a non-profit organization committed to helping women take care of their hearts by reclaiming time for books and friendship.  We read together to create an openness through conversation and friendship where Truth can be encountered. We welcome women of all religious traditions.  Each group has its own flavor which reflects the life experience of the members. Because staff and many key volunteers are deeply committed Catholic women who strive to be faithful to the teachings of the Magisterium, the reflections, audios, and discussion questions view the literature through the lens of the Catholic intellectual tradition. https://wellreadmom.com/

Northern Utah Catholic Co-op

The Northern Utah Catholic Co-op is a group of families who have made the choice to homeschool their children and gather on a regular basis to offer each other support and provide more opportunities for their children. The co-op meets three Fridays a month during September-November and February-April, with programs available for children from pre-k (3 years old) through 12th grade, and a nursery for children under 3 years old. By being part of this Catholic homeschool co-op, parents play an active role in their children's education, working together to establish a positive and nurturing environment that promotes academic and spiritual growth. Families who join the co-op share common values and objectives, and strive to provide their children with a comprehensive education that incorporates Faith, academics and socialization.
